DIY SUMMER ROOM DECOR
DIY SUMMER ROOM DECOR . I’ve been taking some time hey guys so I’m back on youtube I know it’s been a while it’s been like over two weeks but it feels like forever since i usually post once or twice a week my daughter got sick and my husband bought me you macbook it’s not new but for me it’s new it’s actually use it with his friends so we bought it off then I’ve been learning the new software that comes with it I movie so just a little grams of why i haven’t posted what I have a DIY for you guys today and I hope you guys really enjoying it was so easy and super affordable and everything was under fifteen dollars I hope you guys really enjoy don’t forget to follow me on social media if you’re not already.
And if you follow us not trying to get a little like behind the scenes when i’m doing videos or just what I do throughout my day so you want to follow him that the links are down below don’t forget to subscribe i post videos every week at least I try to so yeah thank you guys all so much for watching and don’t forget to give this video a thumbs up yeah so the first thing I’m doing is just kind of getting my sticks laid out and I’m setting it into the shape that I want my geometrical wall decor to be and then I’m hot glue gunning the bottom part I feel like you should start with the main structure that makes any sense like the parts that’s going to be holding all the other pieces so i just did that and then I put a paint bottle to hold up the sticks and I let that dry for a couple of seconds and then I started ripping not ripping I mean I started breaking the six apart and using my nail file to file them down to make them smoother.
DIY SUMMER ROOM DECOR
And now guys all doing here is just kind of like gluing the six together and just finishing off the shape is the easiest project ever so that is what i have so far and then I’m just going to finish the shape so this is what my shape looks like once all the pieces were glued together and now for the fun part you’re gonna get any paint color that you want or you can use spray paint as another alternative so I use metallic silver just because it matched my home decor a little better and this is the final result simple affordable and cue for the next project you’ll need yarn a pair of scissors cardboard cutout in the shape of a rectangle paint in any color you choose a stick I got mine at hobby lobby for a dollar and 29 cents and then you just need a cup filled up with water so the first thing you’re going to do is get your cardboard and you’re going to get your yarn and start wrapping it around and yes i use the cardboard from a popcorn box I’m gonna be eco-friendly here but anyways so you’re gonna start wrapping it around and I wraps right around 60 times but it all depends on how long your cardboard is I then grab the extra piece of string that was kind of like sticking out.
And I wrapped it around and then just took the string Under as you can see here I’m really bad at explaining things but and then I just took the tassel off the car bored and I cut it straight down so all the pieces can be even I then cut off another piece of yarn and wrapped it around the tassel as you can see here I wrapped it around probably like three times and then tied it twice just to keep it nice and secured and then I cut off any extra yarn that was hanging out so I ended up making nine tassels in total so now what we’re going to do is get more string and we’re going to poke a little hole through the tassels and pull the string through there so just keep in mind that we’re having the tassels go and angle so every time you cut out string for a set of tassels they have to be the same exact length now I tied my tassel is a certain way on the stick and I’m really bad at explaining things so i would just let you guys see how I did it yeah now i know my hand covers this part but all i did was bring the strings around to the back and tie it two times and now to dip tire tassels so I grabbed my cup of water and I filled it up halfway and then I grabbed my paint I’m going to have the exact name of it down in the description in case you guys want to use the same color I basically just kept on adding paint and mixing it and then doing the same thing over and over until I got that perfect blue so I brought my cup of paint up to the tassel and I kept bringing it up and down until the castle was picking up and absorbing the pain so I dip-dyed one-third of the tassels and then when I was done with all of them i put the entire thing outside to dry and to finish it off i added some string and tied it to each side this is what’s going to hold the entire thing when we nail it
