Today I am going to be sharing with you guys quick and easy and inexpensive ways to add a touch of fall decor to your house. I really wanted to make this inexpensive and easy most importantly because I know we have a lot going on during this time of year with all of the holidays happening and school and homework and soccer practice, all that happens. So, wanna make this easy for you guys. The first thing that I like to do personally is I like to decorate for fall as a whole instead of individual holidays. I feel like it can kind of get intense to have Halloween decor and then switch it to Thanksgiving decor, and if you wanna do that, that is awesome, but I’m trying to make it simple and easy for you guys. So the first thing that I like to do is I like to decorate with pumpkins. And not necessarily Halloween pumpkins, but just pumpkins.

Now I have a lot of different ways that I like to decorate with pumpkins and one of the first ways that I like to do it is I like to go to Trader Joe’s, I’m gonna grab these right here, ’cause I have all my decor items right here, and these are 69 cents a piece, so I get a ton of these. You can line these up on your fireplace mantel, you can line them up on a console table, you can use it in the middle of your dining room table as decor, or I have it right here on my coffee table as well. You can do so many things and these are so inexpensive and I usually buy them in the end of September and then they last all the way through Halloween, all the way through Thanksgiving, and then I get rid of them around December time.

Another thing that you can do is, I actually found these in the dollar section at Target and they are also pumpkins, but they are ceramic, and these were, I believe, a dollar a piece. So look how cute these are. And these can be used around Halloween, around Thanksgiving, ’cause they’re just neutral colored. They’re fall colored and they’re really inexpensive and same thing, you can use these as decor on bookshelves, you can use them as decor on tables, all of that. So that’s another great item. And something else that you can do that is really simple as far as home decor goes, is buy pumpkins and spray paint them.

This is one that my friends actually made for me. It says we love you on it, but it’s a copper painted pumpkin and they did some crazy things with some of their pumpkins. They made them ombre with different colors of spray paint but instead of carving and cutting them, you can use them more as a decor item around the house, so I thought this was beautiful. So that is all pumpkin related, that’s one way to go. I also got this, I talked about a lot of these items actually in my fall haul recently, but this is just a glass jar, this is from the dollar section at Target as well, it has copper right here. You can do so many things. You can put candy corn inside of this and put it in your kitchen, you can put some of these smaller pumpkins inside and just make it on your console table or whatever, but you can put crunchy leaves or pine cones or whatever inside to make this fall-esque. And I love copper colored things because, to me, that means fall, it’s nice, really warm and earthy. So next thing is you can decorate with copper items. This is just an example. It’s a succulent. I got this from Target a few months ago, actually, but it’s in the little copper cup like this and I think copper is perfect for fall season. Another thing that you can do is decorate with fall candles and fall candles are some of my absolute favorites.

I love the ones from Bath & Body Works, those always smell really, really yummy, especially the two called Autumn and Leaves, those are my absolute favorite. These are also from the dollar section at Target, they’re three dollars but it’s called Fall Day, and it just smells like the woods in fall. I don’t even know how to explain it, it smells amazing, kind of apple cider mixed with woodsy smell. Three dollars and once again, you can put these in your mantel, bookshelves, all of that. The next item are these, and I got these from Target as well. They usually are so great about having seasonal items. If you wanna check those out, head to Target. Target is just really great at having seasonal items, so I got these and I’m gonna be putting these on my console table right in the entryway of my house, but I love these ’cause they’re fall and they scream fall and they’re beautiful and they’re fake so you don’t have to worry about anything happening to them. But these were really inexpensive as well.

Next up I have is a table runner and I thought this was beautiful because it was very fall-esque as far as the tones. And this is something I think that can carry on all the way through Thanksgiving time so I’m gonna put this on my dining room table, but I love the colors, I think they’re really warm and earthy, just like they should be during fall. If you kinda wanna go the other route and do Halloween and then Thanksgiving, there’s a lot of great things that you can do there. Dollar section at Target has some awesome Halloween items like this, all like a dollar. Also some of these tombstones, I’m going to be using this to decorate my kids bathroom and their bedroom, because I don’t decorate the whole house in Halloween, but this is really, really nice ceramic tombstone, it was only three dollars, so I thought that was cute too. And to end this video, just a couple more quick ideas on how you can decorate your house for fall. A really great way is to simply change your front doormat, so when guests come to meet you, there is a fall-esque doormat. So I have a Halloween one, I have a fall kind of one with leaves, I think it’s fun to switch that up. It’s also great to do a little banner, if you have a fireplace or an area of the house that is kind of more boom and in your face. There are so many ways on Pinterest that you can make them or you can buy them pretty inexpensive at Hobby Lobby, Target, those kind of places. I really love fall and it’s my favorite season and so I love to decorate but I don’t have time necessarily to decorate for every single holiday during this season, so these are just some really simple easy ways to decorate your house for fall.
