If you’re going with light cabinets consider choosing warm-toned wall color to balance things out you don’t have to go with one color for your cabinets you can mix and match them add one color to all the cabinets that are against the wall and then another color to your island be very picky and take your time when choosing your handles they can definitely are they your cabinetry design in our old kitchen we had corian countertops we decided to change them out and invest in granite countertop i went with warm undertones of the beige the white and the brown they totally makes the room feel so cozy and warm especially when it’s snowing outside we change that are outdated appliances and went with new appliances from kenmore elite the fridge the microwave and the gas range top speaking of appliances if I regret changing out anything it would be this we have a glass top before changing out to a gas range the glass-top was so easy to clean and now this is so hard to clean looks good but very annoying I’m a huge fan of natural stone so for the backsplash it was an easy choice for me to break it up a little bit from that subway tile look I went with a fun prints of natural stone and glass tile all around the kitchen the space between the cabinets and the ceiling felt really empty.
