DIY Room Decor . I hope it inspires you to maybe want to revamp your room for this upcoming back to school season due to the fact that I have been searching a lot online and in stores for vintage or bow whorish type of room to her pieces I found out that a lot of them seem to be really expensive and over price for that matter and that sparked my idea to make my own little DIY is that I wanted to share with you all so I don’t want to ramble on too long for this intro but i hope you guys let’s get it by travelpodso for this first DIY all you will need is a crate which you can find that Michaels or walmart.
Next you will need some wood stain and you can use any shade of stain that you prefer your crate to be n you will also need a paint brush to use the stained with and lastly you will need some sandpaper the first thing i’m doing here is i’m just going ahead and standing migrate down this step is actually really important because it makes the entire staining process a lot easier and smoother and once you’re done sanding your create you can just go in.

And start staining your wood while you’re staining your wood it’s also really important to you something to wipe away all of that residue so here i am just using an old t-shirt to get rid of all the access and you’re just going to keep repeating this process until you’re finally happy with the shade of your wood the last thing that you’re going to need to do to finish off this DIY is to let it dry and then hang it up either using hooks or some command tape and to top it off i just played around with different types of decor pieces to see what.

I liked best for this next DIY i happen to be inspired by something that i saw on the urban outfitters website but I wanted to make my own twist on it with a rustic sort of vibe all you’ll need is a large metal bucket and you can find these at michaels or at a hardware store you will also need some white spray paint and lastly you will be using some sandpaper to get started you want to start shaking your spray paint can for about a minute and start spraying away but keep in mind that this does not need to be clean and tidy you actually want to go for that messy sort of look once all of the paint is completely dry this is the point where you want to grab your sandpaper and start distressing random parts of the bucket and that’s all to it pressing the gas station yeah and yeah so to make these rustic mason jars all you will need is as many mason jars as you would like no I feel to some twine oh my daddy i love in various colors of chocolate the two like some sponge paint brush in my friends tell me to live and again some sandpaper happened map that start off with a freemason jar with a lid off and then go in with whatever paint color that you would like a map i personally recommend to paint horizontally and just whisk the brush back and forth all you truly need is about two to three light coats of the paint and once the paint is all dry you can go in with your sandpaper and start distressing you mainly want to focus on distressing the label portion at the front of the jar once you think that your jar is worn out enough you can pull out your twine and cut a long piece off then screw the lid back on and start to wrap the twine multiple times around the rim and the lid of the jar creating a bow at the front then you’re all done
